The oldest home in this part of the city is worth a visit just so that you can admire the building's restoration. As for the food, rainbow trout, salmon fillet, vegetarian dishes, oven-roasted duck with raspberry sauce, and the Maine lobster special are likely good bets; the buttery breads and pastries are baked on the premises. The Raintree's madrigal-and-champagne dinners are especially fun. The wine list is impressive, and there's a selection of two dozen beers.
